Nutrition for Growth Summit: The CMA CGM Foundation will produce and deploy 10 PharmaBox, an innovation leveraging our industrial resource and a key asset for humanitarian action
- The Pharma Box is a humanitarian innovation designed to meet the needs of Action Against Hunger for storing and securing medicines and treatments for malnutrition in crisis zones.
- This energy self-sufficient, converted 40-foot container, is adaptable to maritime, rail, and road transport.
- The first PharmaBox was successfully deployed in the Central African Republic at an Action Against Hunger site in February 2025.
- The CMA CGM Foundation will produce and deploy nine additional PharmaBox across Africa, supporting Action Against Hunger’s humanitarian efforts.

The French Embassy, the Franco-Senegalese Alliance of Casamance and the CMA CGM Foundation inaugurated Alliance’s new training facilities
- Following the fire in 2023, that destroyed a large part of the facilities, including classrooms, media library, equipment, and furniture, the Alliance continued its training activities for school pupils, students, and professionals under degraded conditions.
- Four shipping containers converted into classrooms and offices, were donated, transported, and transformed by the CMA CGM Foundation. This new facility will now enable the Alliance to regain sufficient capacity to meet the needs of its beneficiaries and partners.
- The institution is changing its name and becomes the Franco-Senegalese Alliance of Casamance.
- Through its missions, the Alliance promotes access to education and to training and economic development in Casamance, as well as intercultural dialogue.
