The CMA CGM Group is pleased to announce the signature of a cooperation agreement with Godilco, an Uruguayan logistics company, through its subsidiary CMA CGM LOG

The CMA CGM Group implements a pioneer project and widens its logistics services offer in Uruguay

The CMA CGM Group, via its subsidiary CMA CGM LOG, signed a unique agreement with Godilco – a Uruguayan logistics company. The partnership will position CMA CGM LOG as a direct provider of warehousing and distribution services in Uruguay. It was signed in June 2015 for a period of 24 months renewable.

By working along with Godilco, CMA CGM LOG will be able to provide its clients with:

  • bonded ware-housing offering
  • local distribution solutions


By offering logistics solutions in Uruguay, CMA CGM strengthens its presence in a strategic South American country


Uruguay has a strategic location in South America: the port of Montevideo is key to provide inland transportation on barges or roads to Paraguay, Argentina and Chile.

Already present in Uruguay through its office in Montevideo and its 5 direct lines calling the port of the city, CMA CGM will develop a complementary logistics expertise in this country, via its logistics subsidiary CMA CGM LOG.

 

CMA CGM LOG pursues its development in South America


Created in 2001, CMA CGM LOG is the CMA CGM Group’s subsidiary specialized in freight forwarding and logistics solutions. Its 1,000 experts offer logistics solutions in 37 countries, including air freight, multimodal transport, customs management, warehousing and distribution and a wide range of logistics services. In 2015, CMA CGM LOG pursues its development strategy in emerging countries.
