Thibault de Maximy

Thibault de Maximy joined the CMA CGM Group in 2002 and now leads the digital transformation of processes and applications for the Group’s Ethics & Compliance Division.
Holder of three postgraduate degrees, he earned a DESS (Advanced Postgraduate Diploma) in International Relations from the Institut des Hautes Études de l’Amérique Latine (Paris III – Sorbonne Nouvelle), a DESE (Advanced Postgraduate Diploma) specializing in Major International Markets from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), and a Master’s in International Maritime Management, jointly awarded by KEDGE Business School, the ENMM (École Nationale de la Marine Marchande), and CMA CGM.

Throughout his career within the Group, he has built a cross-functional path combining operational expertise, organizational transformation, and governance.
He has held roles in commercial activities, IT systems, management control, strategic studies for the Presidency, as well as in audit, internal control, and risk management. Notably, he served as Trade Manager for the Europe–Latin America and Asia–Europe lines, Business Process Manager within the IT and Organization Department, and Head of Studies at Central Management Control and later for the Presidency.

Before joining CMA CGM, he worked at the Grenoble Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the National Forest Office in Chile.
