Mr. Badis Zaïane

Badis ZAÏANE currently holds the position of Captain in the CMA CGM Group's fleet of vessels.  

His main mission is the management of the vessels under his command. He is the company's representative on these vessels, in charge of the management of all on-board activities, in particular safety, environment, quality, planning, organization, direction and control. 

A Graduate of the Ecole Nationale de la Marine Marchande in Le Havre, he began his career in 1992 as a cadet, then moved on to the position of deck and engine officer in several French and international shipping companies. 

He joined the CMA CGM Group in 2004, first as Second Engineer, Chief Officer, then Chief Engineer, before becoming Captain in early 2010.
